Talking in Parenthesis
Ramblings and angst from a mostly stay at home mom
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us. It is in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. -Nelson Mandela

Three Things Thursday
1. I am waiting for the delivery and installation of my new washing machine and dish washer. Yep both at the same time. So today sometime between 9 and 2 they will be here. Hopefully closer to the 9 than the 2 but I am not hopeful.
2. I have spent all morning on the phone trying to figure out why all the kids school district keeps sending all email messages to the old address from 3 years ago instead of the new one I filled out 5 stupid times this year alone!!
3. And I think Wonder Pets crossed a line today. I don't listen to every word they say but I looked up long enough to her the little Duck say celery is great after a good pee. What the heck? Okay I realize that is mild and please that is not what bothers me. What bothers me is I see at is being gross for gross sake. More of the dummying down of the nation. Sigh...
