Talking in Parenthesis
Ramblings and angst from a mostly stay at home mom
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us. It is in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. -Nelson Mandela

Three Things Thursday
1. The change in the smell of the air. It is crisp, refreshing.
2. Crunching leaves. I love walking through the fallen leaves.
3. Getting to make chili again. It is way too hot to make chili right now.

Three Things Thursday
1.We got to go to the zoo and I could show them the animals.
2. Showing them my drawings instead of mailing them.
3. Just spending time with them.

Three Things Thursday
1. I drive my kids crazy when I eat certain types of candy. Ever since I was little I have had complicated ways of eating 3 Muskateers, Salted Nut Rolls and Kit Kats. I eat off either the chocolate, or nuts first and then the middles or in the Kit Kat case layer by layer. I have no idea why I just do.
2. I am a catalog junkie. I will send away for any catalog I can. And any day that includes a catalog in the mail is a good day.
3. I just realized I know all the words to the songs on Lazy Town. (It's a piece of cake to bake a pretty cake...)

Three Things Thursday
1. Check my email, don't want to miss something good.
2. Click on to weatherbug and check the weather.
3. And no matter what else is going on, kiss Ron good-bye and tell him I love him.
